Message for Candidates in Japan

The greatest mission of EPS is to provide all-around support to pharmaceutical companies conducting multinational/Asian clinical trials. All projects involve working with international companies and organizations. There are many employees who seek to gain experience as CRAs, project managers (PMs) and in regulatory affairs (RA), etc. and then work overseas. From the perspective of having the opportunity to take on a central role in global projects, our company provides an environment that is far more fulfilling than working at the Japanese subsidiary of a foreign-owned company. As all of our projects have an international component, it is extremely important for us to explain the situation in Japan to people overseas in our communications with both internal and external overseas parties.

Careers at our company involve “managing projects” and “managing organizations and people.” One way of thinking about this is to not just focus on your experience and expertise in past areas, but to experience clinical trials in various therapeutic areas while working as a CRA, PM and RA, etc. honing your expertise in a therapeutic area that interests you. Choosing to manage organizational teams and people is also valuable. Mastering both in a well-balanced manner, although the intensity and strength may vary, will expand your career options. It is also important to consider work-life balance which is very important at EPS.

Our company seeks people who do not shy away from trying new things or taking on challenges but enjoy them. We also believe that it is important to train more people who can respond to changes in their environment. We look forward to working with you towards our goal of becoming the best partner in global pharmaceutical development from Japan.
